The Full Story

A Lifetime of Creativity

Bill Kopp's commitment to music spans 3 decades. His previous bands Cynicism, Bitchslicer, and Apex Predator all sat in the forefront of the underground music scene in and around Philadelphia. Now with a unique new sound, He has reemerged with both his new band Habitual Offender as well as his solo project under his newly formed record label BK Records. After a year and a half in his new rehearsal space at AstroMonster Records, He now has the ability to manage all aspects of his music adding recording and mastering to the mix. Habitual offender, a metal driven  band is a mixture of hard core, punk and rock. While his solo music consists of clean style electric guitar and slow melancholy sounds. The combination of harmonized vocals and sad somber music has a very unique sound and projects a sense of honesty. This time recording and preforming all the instruments himself, Bill feels a more personal connection to his writing. While the music may be laid back the lyrics are profound to say the least. In the wake of the anticipated release of his new solo album " Soulless ", the title track was released as well as " Follow " and " Out of place " . These tracks as well as : We are the dead " from Habitual Offender have all been released on bandcamp  and promises not to disappoint. For live performances bill will be sampling his own background tracks for a fairly large sound. Weather its the band or bill himself,   the goal is to make a connection with the listener and hopes they find a little of themselves in his music. Im sure you may find song or two you can relate to. Please go to the music section of this site and judge for yourself.  We hope you enjoy it.
